Edutopia's article '2023 in Review: From Your Point of View' highlights some of the key education issues of this year. The section 'In Defense of Pens and Pencils' resonated with me greatly as I believe that technology isn't the silver bullet to reimagine education for our students.
The term I favor is Blended Learning. Educators need to harness both the latest technology and traditional tools like pen and paper, whiteboards, physical manipulatives, and hands-on experiments.
Only by harnessing the best of both worlds will our students thrive in their learning experience.
